4th International Conference on Smart Cities, Internet of Things and Applications, September 19-20, 2020, Mashhad, Iran.

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 4th international conference on Smart Cities, Internet of Things and Applications (SCIoT2020), Mashhad, Iran.

We are honored to be the host of the Fourth International Conference on Intelligent City, Internet of Things and Applications (SCIoT2020) at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. In line with the growth and development in the field of computer and information technology, Computer Engineering Department of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad has presented various research activities in the field of IoT and smart cities. In addition, various industrial / applied projects in the field of smart cities and Internet of Things have been undertaken by faculty and students in this department. ICCKE's annual conferences, the International Computer Engineering Conference, the International Cryptology Conference, and two national and international conferences on smart cities and IoT are also on the agenda of this group in 2017 and 2018, respectively. The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Isfahan has also been active in providing the suitable infrastructure with the establishment of research laboratories, holding meetings and workshops, as well as holding the International Conference on Internet of Things and Applications in 2019. According to the valuable results of the joint 3rd International Conference on Internet of Things and Applications by Isfahan University and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2019, the 4th International Conference on Smart City, Internet of Things and Applications will be held by the two universities and hosted by the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in September 2020, in the holy city of Mashhad.

A key feature of the 4th conference is the scientific support of the IoT Center at Amir Kabir University of Technology for holding conference. The scientific support of this center will certainly influence the success and the quality of the 4th conference.
