Congratulations
for the acceptance of your paper for publication in the proceedings of
SCIoT2020. In order to have your paper included in the proceedings
successfully, the following steps should be done before September 1st,
2020:
1- Carefully
revise the article according to the comments received by the reviewers and
proofread the source document thoroughly.
2- Format
the paper according to the guidelines accessible from the Author/Submission Guidelines page.
3- Add
the appropriate copyright clearance code notice to the bottom left corner of
the first page (footer) according to the following categories:
- For papers in which all authors are
employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work
not protected by U.S. copyright
- For papers in which all authors are
employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright
notice is: 978-1-7281-9611-4/20/$31.00 ©2020 Crown
- For papers in which all authors are
employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-9611-4/20/$31.00©2020
European Union
- For all other papers the copyright
notice is: 978-1-7281-9611-4/20/$31.00 ©2020 IEEE
4- Add
the following header to the first page of the paper: 4th International
Conference on Smart Cities, Internet of Things and Applications (SCIoT2020)
September 16-17 – Ferdowsi University of Mashhad
5- Validate
your pdf file obtained from the previous step, by following these steps:
- Set up an account by clicking on the
"New User" link.
- For Conference ID, enter: 50840X
- Enter your email address, confirm
it, and choose a password.
- Click on the Submit button.
Once
logged in to your account, enter your paper title inside the box and upload the
pdf file. You will receive emails upon file reception.
If
your pdf file is valid, you will receive an email showing that your file has
passed pdf check successfully. Otherwise follow the tips to revise your article
and upload the pdf file again.
Once
you are informed about the successful pdf check, download the approved file by
clicking on the paper title.
IMPORTANT:
Any changes made to a PDF after IEEE PDF eXpress conversion or PDF checking may
invalidate Xplore compatibility. This includes headers, page numbers, copyright
notice, watermarks, etc. If any of these elements are desired, they should be
added to the document before a PDF is created.
6- Prepare
your presentation files (in both .ppt and .flv formats). More information about
the preparation of the presentation files will be accessible via the Guidelines for Presentation page. Only the presented papers are
included in the proceedings.
7- Pay
your registration fee. For more information, please see the Registration Fee
page. No refund request is accepted.
8- After
validating your pdf file, upload the followings via the user panel:
- The validated PDF file of your
article.
o The
source files:doc/docx or latex files
o FLV
and ppt/pptx presentation files
All
the above steps should be done before September 1st.
The
following step is also should be done by the author(s), but not available yet.
9- Complete
the procedure of IEEE copyright transform online. You will receive an email
from IEEE to complete the eCF transfer.
